It is probably an Austrian variety in whose origin the Heunisch variety participated. It is mainly grown in Central European wine regions. In our region, it is grown only in Moravia because it is a late variety. Dark-ruby colour. The taste of strong acids overlaps other substances in the young age of the wine. After the reduction of the strong tones of youth, there is a pleasant spiciness associated with fruitiness and a matured expression of extractive wine typical for the northern wine region, which is characterized by softness in the best years. It is suitable for spicy meat, game and pâtés.
